About new life and happiness

As you may have noticed, my lovelies, I've done no blogging since last Thursday. Even though I gave you a little hint in my last post, at that point I had no idea what was about to happen. So here is the explanation / reflection on last week’s life changing event - oh yes, I entered into motherhood!

When I started this blog I already knew that I was going to have a baby. Time flies...  I became mother on Thursday last week. All existential questions that have been torturing me for many years were answered at 17:36pm when for the first time I saw my daughter’s face. In just 1 second this little human being brought me so much happiness that even the difficulties of the birth process that lasted almost for 2 days could not overshadow.

Moreover, I should confess that the necessity/obligation of becoming a mum one day has never excited me. I was a career orientated, party loving and socially hyperactive member of modern society. In addition to that, the pregnancy was a very difficult one... Won’t go into details as I don’t want to scare those who have not had babies yet. It is different for everybody though, some people say they enjoy it. I was ‘unlucky’, so I did not. I guess that provides enough of background to understand where I am coming from.

Yet, everything has changed last Thursday. I am a mother now. I am finally found out how real happiness feels. It is larger than universe and brighter than sun... there are no words that can describe this feeling... To all of you lovelies, who have not had babies yet I want to say that there is nothing more wonderful and more joyful in this life than becoming a mum. To all mums, big respect to all of you, I am glad to finally join your ‘club’.

P.S. Some of you asked me whether I am going to change the subject of my blog to maternity and parenthood. The answer is:  I am going to stick to the original subject/s: beauty, style and fashion... I hope that it will make the blog even more interesting as now I have to juggle the complete set: baby, man, house, work and blog :) will see how we go!
