Casual chic for a picnic in a park or Excuse me, can I try your sunnies?

As you may know lovelies, we spent last weekend  in Brisbane to celebrate Anastasia's first birthday. It was a last minute decision to make the trip, however, as often happens, spontaneous moves often turn out the best. It was so great to see our friends, family and just generally to catch up. For the party, we opted for a picnic in a park so all the kids would have sufficient space to run around. A blue cotton shirt paired with printed Zara pants (also worn here) and burgundy ballet flats were comfortable enough to spend all afternoon with children in the park yet  dressy enough to honor the little one's birthday.

Speaking of Anastasia, she seems to be quite interested in fashion. While we were taking those photos, Anastasia was playing with others a few meters away but as soon as she saw what I was doing she came to me and asked to wear my sunnies...

...then she walked away and came back with someone else's sunnies (!!) for her to wear (I guess, mine weren't her style). As I helped her with those, she sat down with me to pose for the camera.

How is that?! Little ones... they are full of surprises!

Finally I shall add that what I brought via carry-on to Brisbane was more than enough. In fact I packed too much - I didn't get to wear that mint jumper ;)
