Some of you may already know (from my frequent frenzy of tweeting) that on Saturday I attended Sydney Hair Expo 2012. It was quite a long day, I visited the exhibition as well as Opening Gala Evening. Consequently, my look had to be comfortable enough to do all the walking around the expo and also be suitable for an evening event. I’m not as avant garde as say, Susie Bubble, who wears runners for such occasions (such a wise move, I must admit). Nor would I be able to repeat the heroic episode of fashion week, i.e. to spend 12 hours on 12cm heels. So the choice was to wear my beloved Prada loafers, a tailored blazer in blush pink (also worn here) with a woolen turtle neck jumper (it’s winter – so goodbye silk blouses) and black skinnies (also worn here) which were a nice match.
Fashion is fashion but seriously, nothing beats the classics!
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post about the Hair Expo. Expect to see no photos of scissors but everything from The Evening Gala Spectacular! I must admit hairdressers know a thing or two about how to makes fantastic shows.
Enjoy your Monday darlings!!
