Neon green and white to a lunch date

Who would think neon would make such a strong come back? Now its everywhere - neon clothes, jewellery and even nails! Fashion really is an unpredictable thing. However instead of a full on fluro look, I prefer tiny injections of color. Like this ensemble that I wore a while ago, or like this outfit that I wore to a recent lunch date - neon green shirt paired with classic white and black. However, I think the memories of 80's fashion faux pas are still haunting my fiance because as soon as he saw this neon shirt he said "THAT colour died for a reason! It  looks like a radioactive disaster!" Men... what do they know about fashion anyways?!
