White lace top

You know that feeling when you know there is a present hidden for you yet it is a long time till your birthday? You can't wait to actually have it and start playing with it? That's the feeling this white lace top brought out. It has been lying silently for 2 weeks waiting for an occasion to be revealed. However, the recent Sydney weather dampened any opportunity to wear skirts or any kind of lace! I imagined this peplum top would go perfectly with a sky blue full skirt.

So a back up plan emerged in a form of black skinny jeans. The jeans created a somehow pleasant contrast to the delicate top by balancing the luxurious white lace towards a more casual look. There also was a leather jacket to protect the lacey contents from the viscous wind and curious eyes. It was only indoors, with a warming glass of red wine that the lace could reveal itself.  And yes, we did endure freezing Antarctic wind to take these photos. Such a pity, it was so cold!
