How to conceal dark circles
I am often asked how, as a brand new mum, I look so fresh and glowing. Where are signs of the ‘joy of motherhood’ or, as most people know them, dark circles? The answer is very simple my friend, well executed makeup with a good concealer! Today I am sharing with you my secrets from a modelling past how to cover dark circles, redness and puffiness under your eyes.
This how-to-guide to fresh looking face without signs of tiredness can be as useful for new mums as for students and all other females suffering from sleep deprivation. By the way, the last image is a comparison of my bare face V with makeup on. In case you are curious how I actually look like :)

1. Place eye drops into eyes to remove redness. Pat a few drops directly under your eye to reduce puffiness

3. Blend gently concealer with a brush covering entire under eye area. Then gently pat it in with fingertips. Follow with a good coverage foundation.

4. Apply light ivory eye shadow under your eye brow and around inner corner of your eye to create a light reflection illusion.

5. Apply one layer of a black or dark brown mascara. Draw a thin line with a white kohl on the lower eyelid. It will make your eyes look bigger and brighter.

6. Apply neutral pink/beige lipstick or lip gloss and a hint of blush on cheeks. Opt for warm shades to soften the look.

Have a Fabulous Friday and Relaxing weekend!

I always find that my undereyes are my biggest problem…but I can never seem to get it right…I’ve never tried eye drops though..and being tired is not my problem (thank goodness I have a child that likes to sleep as much as I do). Thanks for the instructions :)

Thanks for your tips! I have quite dark circles all the time and it doesn’t help that I work a lot of early mornings and so concealer is a must – my favourites are Benefit Boi-ing, Laura Mercier and Clinique Airbrush Concealer – I own many more though… I guess I’m a concealer junkie!

For me, it’s the concealer, white eye pencil for my waterline and…my secret – BRIGHT, BOLD coloured lipstick! Seriously. It takes the focus off my eyes and onto my lips. ;)
