Makeup trends Summer 2012

My skincare program has already been updated for summer. Now it is time to update makeup! While researching the hottest beauty trends I spent hours reviewing the recent Milan, London and New York summer 2012 fashion shows.  Today I present you the result – the most adorable and wearable looks of the summer 2012 season!

Giorgio armani, jil sander, beauty trends 2012, milan fashion week, feminine makeup, beauty blog sydney

Feminine

Subtly winged eyes, rosy complexion with a hint of blush and nude lips as seen at Jil Sander or with a tint of a lip gloss lips at Giorgio Armani.

Louis Vuitton, chanel, beauty trends 2012, london fashion week, winged eye, shimmering eye shadows, makeup, beauty fashion blog australia

Doll Face

Louis Vuitton and Chanel, the mammoths of fashion world, both presented with this utterly attractive look. Winged eyes, shimmering eye shadows, peachy cheeks and warm creamy pink or peach lips. Yet Chanel’s woman is more of a mermaid with inclusion of pearls all around her face and Louis Vuitton’s is a princess on a bean – with messy hair and endless lashes.

miu miu, gucci, beauty trends 2012, milan fashion week, statement eye makeup, red eye shadows, beauty blog sydney

Statement eyes

Gucci went high drama with ink black painted all around eye balanced by bronzed complexion and rose pink lips. In Miu Miu revolutionary crashing red upper eye lid painted on a pale complexion and nude lips with a highlight under bottom lip.

Valentino, Alexander McQueen, makeup trend 2012, london fashion week, bare face, shimmering eye shadows, makeup, beauty fashion blog australia

Bare Face

The art of bare face makeup was perfected by many fashion houses in 2012 summer fashion shows. You can do either ethereal and warm in McQueen or snow white with a hint of light pink eye shadows and rosy cheeks in Valentino.

Emilio Pucci, arizona muse, make up trend 2012, milan fashion week, smoky eye, bushy eye brows, beauty blog sydney

Beauty P.S.   Bushy eye brows

They are still hot! They’ve made it through more than 2 seasons. As such, I think it is not a one day fad but a serious change of climate that is here to stay for a while. So forget about tweezers and just let these babies grow… until you achieve bushiness similar to those of Arizona Muse for Emilio Pucci.
