MBFWA 2012 diary – the best moments of fashion
Unexpected pompom headpieces at Aurelio Costarella SS 2012
Thought I’d share some of the most remarkable moments of Australian fashion week (MBFWA) on this blog. Unique pics that you won’t see on other blogs and fashion news sites because, well, I took them and I went to a lot of shows! I was trying my best to tweet and Instagram everything interesting directly from the runways and backstage but alas, there was way too much fashion information to process in a very short period of time. So after hours spent reviewing the vast amount of material I shot, here I present you with the crème de la crème.

Beautiful finale at Camilla brought tears in my eyes… too emotional!

Pure bright color and clashing prints at Gary Bigeni
Thousands of tiny bells as dress embellishment at Bowie SS 2012 (more photos of this ethereal collection see here)
The gorgeous Samantha Harris as a bride at Johanna Jonson MBFWA 2012
All handmade… by young and very talented designer Crystal Tsoi.

What an amazing lineup! I love the feathers at Camilla.
Great photos Maria – loving Bowie bells, Nosim shoes & Gary Bigeni prints – thanks for sharing !
How great were those headpieces at Costarella?! They were definitely a favourite of mine, too. And I love to Nosim shoes – hadn’t seen them before. Do you know who made them for the show?
Beautiful! I feel like there was a lot of bridal(ish) stuff but not complaining. Aurelio was gorgeous. I need to do a similar post – so.many.photos.
