MBFWA – Dylan Cooper Spring Summer 2012-13
Dylan Cooper’s debut Spring Summer 2012/13 collection was one of the most memorable shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA). Peplum tops in coral hues, sheer blouses, tailored jackets, fitted skirts and trousers with beautiful detailed prints. Draped dresses with crushed pleating and strategic frills in rich gold prints completed the overall look, creating a luxurious feminine feel.
It seemed that each of the 20 unique looks presented by the Project Runway winner had it’s own unique story. Each of the garments can comfortably work independently of the collection as a statement piece of a chic wardrobe.
By the way, designer Dylan Cooper has just turned 21. A very strong collection for someone who has just entered the world of high fashion, don’t you think?

Thanks so much for sharing this collection with us – I am in LOVE! The colours, prints, draping – it’s simply beautiful. And yes, it’s a very clever and strong collection for someone so young. Amy xx
Definitely agree Amy … It’s a gorgeous collection and Maria your pics are lovely. I really enjoyed Dylan’s creations on Project Runway… So good to see his talent on the “real” runway. xx Nicole
