In The Summertime
We shot these photos in Palm Cove, Australia*. A serene and endlessly romantic beach town only 30 minutes north of Cairns. The weather was playing up, there was storm clouds one minute and sun the next. For example, as soon as Joseph took the camera out of the bag some hurricane like wind arrived out of nowhere. That’s why I’m holding my hat on in most of the photos, it’s not just a pose :)
I’m kind of obsessed with this big stripey hat. I’ve been dreaming about such a hat for years. Speaking of dreams coming to fruition, I’ll be flying to the Gold Coast tomorrow to attend the ProBlogger conference. So bring on summertime, big stripey hats, mojitos and the insanely blue Pacific ocean.
* A note on today’s post. It is highly recommended you scroll to the bottom of the page, hit play and then scroll back to the top and enjoy the photos.
Outfit details: Witchery top (similar here), Zara shorts (bought in Greece, similar here and also here), ancient Country Road sandals, Marcs bag, hat, Gigglosophy and Baubble Bar bracelets and rings, and Crusader nails.

In the summertime when the weather is high
You can stretch right up and touch the sky
When the weather’s fine
You got hats, you got lipsticks on your mind…
