One sweet evening

young mum and a baby in a shop

I was wearing: Zara jacket, AG jeans, Pug t-shirt (also worn here), Zomp sneakers. Anastasia: Pumkin Patch clothes and Zara shoes

As they say, life all comes down to a few moments… Well, that evening spent at one of our favourite locations – Manly Wharf was definitely one of them. We just can’t get enough of its stunning views and delicious food. After dinner at the Pavilion we couldn’t help but prolong our indulgence and started an expedition in search of treats. It began at the candy shop inside the Wharf followed by a stop at a cafe for a warming cup of chai latte and ended at home with delicious ice creams.

These were new Skinny Cow ice cream cookies that are low in calories and have no artificial sweeteners. Of course, as the biggest ice cream fan I had to try all three vanilla, caramel and the new chocolate flavours. Anastasia had a bite too!

Sometimes it feels so good to indulge, maybe even over indulge. Life is too short not to live it in full.

P.S.

No cows or other animals were heart during that over indulgent evening and all extra calories were pre-burnt by extensive seaside walking.

Such a lovely shoot! The two of you together are too cute :) Like Amy I have a few indulgences lol … but if I had to say one I’d say Gold Class movies – that’s the only way I go to the cinema! Oh & accessories of course! xx Nicole

I don’t like to admit this, but at Disneyland I ate a deep fried sandwich covered in icing sugar. That was definitely a one-time indulgence though!

So sweet! My biggest indulgence is baths. I love kicking back with a glass of wine, a face masque and a really trashy book. My favourite way to spend an evening!

Chocolate’s my biggest indulgence; it can drown out those maddening, deafening screams
It can turn your worst  nightmares into the sweetest of sweet dreams
If there’s a darkened tunnel,it’s the bright  light at the end
It comforts and cheers you up more than a best friend!
It stops childish tantrums, and bad aids can’t compare
To fix any ache or pain, you just need chocolate to be there.
It’s reunited lovers, it gives low days a lift
It’s the only hope you’ve got if you need an “I’m sorry” gift
Its your companion as you cry through  The Notebook yet again
It’s knows just how to please you (unlike many men!)

Fluffly is so cute! Definitely more mum and bub photos please.

My biggest indulgence would have to online shopping! I love ordering something you can’t even buy in Australia, then receiving a beautiful package. It’s like a present to myself every time.

  15. Stephanie Ganfield May 29, 2012

I love the first snap. You look fantastic as always, I can’t wait to meet the little darling. Indulgences? Mmm … Coffee. Iced Coffee. … & Kopikos! :} xxx

Great photos, love seeing your gorgeous daughter and I really appreciate that you don’t constantly put her on show on your blog since it makes it all the more special on those rare times when you do share her with us. My biggest indulgence is chocolate, cherry ripes in particular. I don’t indulge very often but when I do it is amazing!

  17. Anya Volkov May 30, 2012

I agree with everyone above, more mother daughter shoots please! :D

My biggest indulgence would be a type of cookies and cream ice cream made by Gelare (currently in perth, victoria and brisbane only). After working there many years ago, still refuse to buy any other flavour when I go back…it’s usually a weekly visit!

  18. cinti May 31, 2012

Anastasia is just adorable – I love that denim dress. Excuse me while I check out Pumpkin Patch right now for clothes for my girl!! My biggest indulgence would have to be Tim Tam’s. I don’t buy them very often but when I do, they are gone within a day! xx

My biggest indulgence is getting my hair washed and a scal massage at the hairdressers. Seriously, the smell of the shampoo and conditioner is divine and its nice not having to wash hair in a hurry, as it the case in the shower sometimes. Plus, i love how the water is warm and super soothing. Scalp massages are amazing and soooooooooo relaxing! :)

my biggest indulgence is shopping for the best bargains I can buy. I will scour a shop for all those red and pink markdown stickers, the percentage off sales…addicted is all I can say, but hey, all worth it in the end, I have scored so many amazing items for a fraction of the cost, saves us loads of money!

  23. Angela June 7, 2012

These pics are fab, love to see how much fun you have with your lil one.
My biggest indulgence is buying stationary to write to my friends, I love trawling through etsy to find new paper and sweet cards to keep in touch with my crew now we are all so far apart.
