A meeting and a leather skirt
Here is the first ensemble incorporating the suede / leather skirt that I recently bought. I had a business meeting on Thursday. Consequently, my outfit was a bit conservative. Well, you can’t turn up to a meeting wearing a whimsical dress can you? At the same time, you don’t have to wear a black suit every time you need to make the right impression.
Looking smart doesn’t have to mean boring. Plus, you can always add a modern touch to any classic ensemble. So in my case, the classic parts were simple garments, i.e. straight skirt and plain business shirt in low key light brown and black colours. Yet the leather and suede of the skirt added edge while the chunky crystal necklace brought a feminine touch to the look.

I love this outfit. Business attire definitely does not need to be boring. The leather skirt makes the whole outfit more edgier. I love it! :)

The crystal necklace looks fantastic on you – it’s just the right scale between chunky and feminine. I love the look of black with brown, especially when the textures are mixed up so right. But next time you shoot this skirt, give up a peek of how the different leather fabrication looks in the back!!
