Black and White
Black and white is one of my favorite colour combinations. It is such a classic that always remains relevant no matter what turns this unpredictable fashion takes. As much as I love bright colour and sequins, it feels nice to come back to the strict elegance of monochrome ensembles.
Black looks particularly good in fitted and structured pieces like, say this peplum top. While, some may argue peplums tend to make your hips look larger then they are, I enjoy how it makes your waist look tiny.

I don’t think a peplum makes hips look larger than they are – as a “hippy” myself I have to say that when they are done well (as this one is) they distract the eye from the hips/abdomen altogether.
Perfect for those days when one has long lunch on the cards!
I just love these pants Maria! I agree about peplums, I think they’re flattering even if you do have wide hips (which you definitely don’t, but I do!) x
I think peplum is absolutely flattering. I don’t think it makes hips look any larger and if it does, maybe I am just too busy looking at the slim-looking waists!
Such a beautiful outfit Maria. x
Absolutely stunning, love the whole outfit…you look radiant :))) xx
Adore this smart look. Especially your face;)
This top was made for you.
You look gorgeous- LOVE your peplum top and those pants! xx
White and black are a great combination. I agree that black coloured outfits, look great when they are just fitted and non frilly. They make you look thinner and fairer at the same time.
