Going preppy in argyle

Guess how old I am, lovelies? No I’m not going to tell you… that’s me who was asking you this question LOL Anyways, what I’m trying to say that you can rock preppy style regardless of your age. I found this wonderful argyle print Tommy Hilfiger jumper in David Jones on sales last weekend. I simply could not resist its bright happy colors. There were no my size left so I had to get a bigger one.
I paired this slightly conservative v-neck jumper with other straight forward pieces: tight cropped jeans, plain white business shirt and patent leather loafers. Though, when put together the look appeared to be fun yet sophisticated (well, I hope so). There was no need to accessorise much as rich colors of clothes made the statement. To complete the look I did a classic red lips & red nails makeup.
So, that was my Saturday: rocking preppy in brights.

You look great! I think that the school/college chic preppy-style look is timeless and ageless… So it doesn’t matter how old you are :) I’m always trying to pull off tartan garments and always worried I’m too old. Glad to see I’m wrong!

I love this look because it’s something that acceptable in the office and comfortable enough to run errands. I hate coming back home to change when I’m doing something new :P Outfits that transition well are the best.
