How To Wear a Statement Jumper – Look 1 Dress Up
I bought this statement jumper in Greece and it has quickly become my new season wardrobe staple. I have to make an effort not to wear it again and again. Who knew one piece could be so multitasking?! So when an opportunity for a shoot with Tim Hannah come across I thought why not to shoot a series showcasing the same item worn in different ways?
The first look – Dress Your Jumper Up. I wore this outfit recently to the inaugural Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA 2013). I like high collars so layering the the jumper over the plain fitted white blouse was the way to go. A choker large blue stones to match the skirt and jumper details tied the look together. Of course, the famous (or shall I say in-famous?) over the knee boots. Classic heels would work with this look too but while the weather allows, why not to go for something different and have fun?

Outfit details: Zara jumper (bought in Greece, similar here or here) and skirt (similar ASOS here), Zomp over the knee boots (similar here), Tova necklace, and MollieDay clutch.

ahhh, houndstooth. my favorite of all the patterns. great sweater, and it looks very sexy with the skirt.
Thank you! It’s one of my fav patterns too! Stripes, check & houndstooth – the holy trinity of my wardrobe :)

Stunning doll, I love the skirt as well, adds a lovely detail to the whole look :)) xx
oooh I love this skirt! I recently spotted a similar one in Seed in white (my blog post about it is here: flourish-blog.blogspot.com.au/seed) and I’ve been tossing up whether to buy it or not ever since. I really like the idea of pairing it with something more laid back like a jumper though, so maybe I will have to buy it so I can give this look a go!
Much love, greta
