Lion’s Gold
We recently attended an art exhibition opening. Dress codes for exhibitions vary wildly so I opted for something calm and neutral. Well, as neutral as gold sequin skirt and a lion head statement necklace can be. Sequins, they always make me smile! Trust me, smiles were in demand on that unexpectedly cold day.
As for the necklace… my love for this piece is inexplicable so I just go with it. Why not? It’s too limiting to try and rationalise our fashion choices after all. If we rationalised everything and everyone – life would be boring!
Outfit details: Zara blazer (this is an old favorite but similar here), Zambessi shirt, sequin skirt (similar here), Squire shoes (identical here), Chanel inspired bag, Lion Head necklace, vintage gold rings (similar rings here) and hair as per this tutorial.
