MBFWA What I Wore – Part 1
The first day of MBFWA was very busy. With kilometers of walking and hundreds of photos to take, I decided to wear something comfortable. Plus, there is no way I was going to repeat the 12 cm heel madness of last year so tiny heels were chosen accordingly.
Despite my effortless approach, the outfit worked well. Lovely fashion week comrades wanted to take photos for their street style reports. I’m not claiming I’m a street style star or anything like that but it goes to show that it’s not just about labels or price tags but rather the thought that you put into your look that will work in your favor. I went for clashing prints in black and white with the addition of bright accents and some bling in the form of vintage crystal earrings. And of course, MBFWA inspired nail art!
As for the shows, the most memorable were Aurelio Costarella (of course!) and Alex Perry (OMG! those laced up boots). While the very good looking brother and sister combo, Camilla & Marc were very Camilla&Marc. We also enjoyed front row seats (pictured below) at the Christopher Esber show … Hi mum!

Outfit details: Equipment shirt, Zara pants & shoes and vintage earrings.

Thank you Aryanny! You definitely should. x
Oh you look amazingly stylish Maria! You can’t go wrong with classic black and white with a pop of colour! And stripes go with everything :-D xx
Thank you Jade! Agree 100% – stripes all the way ;)
That pop of blue is so fantastic! I loved scrolling down and having that literally pop out of no where – love it!
xo
the blue heels look amazing with those pants x
You look so chic, as always! i love that you chose smaller heels, whilst i love the look on others wearing sky high heels a) because its not me wearing them – oh the pain haha and b) i dont wear high heels much as im so tall so its a little way of me living vicariously through a shortie! – but what im trying to say is, practical doesnt equal any less fashionable! you look classy and comfortable, like running between shows and long days on your feet would end up, with you wincing with pain every step towards a hot bath at the end of fashion week! ALSO THAT BLUE is my fave color ever in ze world!
[…] only two designs which I matched to my outfits. The previously shown tribal nails were a part of this outfit, and the Marni nails were part of this […]
