Opera, stripes & fishnets

Recently, I came up with a solution how to incorporate both fishnets and stripes into a look suitable for an evening at the opera. The result appeared to be quite attractive, so here I am sharing it with the world.

Amazing full skirt in black for a strong silhouette, cotton top in red  & beige stripe to add contrast, fishnets to spice up the outfit, satin pumps for elegance and chunky flower bracelet to add some womanliness! Dark lips, matching nails and perfect glossy hair are a must too. Voila, all geared up for an opera – high drama with a sexy edge.

By the way, the bracelet I had to make myself as there was nothing in my jewellery box to complete the look (see Multitasking Mimco on how I made the bracelet).

What have we worn here:

Cue high waisted full skirt – last year purchase

Cue top – $39 (Xmas sales price!)

Fishnets – from Myer

Pump platform heels –Zu, $90 (Xmas sales!)

Bracelet – DIY incorporating Mimco headband
