Orange: the color of change
This is what I ended up wearing to the Fashion Parade on Saturday… As you remember from this post, I had some very special plans for my outfit. Yet the plans were destroyed by a naughty bird that did something veeery naughty (and stinky) on my pants. Birds, you know, they do not care if you are a fashion blogger on your way to a fashion show… They will happily do this on you even if you are on your first date. In my case (that I guess was not as tragic as the first date scenario) I ended up rushing home to make a quick change of my entire outfit just before the show. Instead of Crashing Red I was Rocking Orange.
At the end I was quite happy with the replacement option as it was comfortable and presentable enough. Chunky jewelry and orange color did the job well, adding edge to this very simple outfit. The silk blouse by the way, is one of my favorite pieces at the moment. I can’t wait to wear it with denim shorts or mini skirts when summer arrives. I will avoid walking under the trees as birds, you know, they don’t care about your blouses either…

Ooh so even if this bird’s impromptu attack betrays this One (uber guilty) selfishness, I must confess that I really like the way these Orange tonalities “allegorize” Summer’s fruity appeal next to your skin § your lips ! “Fancy(licious) Radicality” . . .
