Last weekend was probably the most action packed since Anastasia’s birth… So some of my recent acquisitions came in useful. On Saturday, Jenny, Adeline, Christina and I went out to one of the nicest lounge bars in Sydney. Such a great night… cocktails, mocktails, lots of talking and even some dance moves. In case you are curious, there are some action shoots of what was happening on Facebook.
Of course, I could not resist wearing the fabulous Thakoons (also here). This time I paired them with a blue silk blouse, A-line skirt and glimmering chandelier earrings. The ensemble may appear a bit conservative but that’s how I feel. Not really into the current nightlife looks that reveal too much. I like clothes that make me feel comfortable and confident, not preoccupied about them inadvertently flashing strangers. So, yes, in terms of styling, less will always be my more :)

Ohh such a beautiful colour on you! I know you are in love with those shoes! But the B & W photo, and the close up… you bring tears to my eye cause you remind me so much of my own mother (she passed away at a young age), your earrings are smashing too!

FINALLY! Someone who doesn’t dress like an idiot in what I like to call, a skirt/belt hybrid. Hope you had a great night. It’s always nice to go out, especially when you have a baby, and it becomes a rare thing. Though I don’t speak from experience, clearly. x
