White blazer, red jeans
Summer is coming to Australia. Soon we will be spending our weekends at the beach sipping strawberry smoothies and catching waves. As for now I am enjoying wearing less layers and lighter clothes. This summer I will be wearing lots of noble white. White on white, white with gold or white with brights. The latter is demonstrated by the outfit showcased.
The white blazer is definitely one of my favorite summer pieces of all time. It was also great to find all the runways reporting ‘the big come back of white suit’. My beloved red jeans (as previously seen here) are making a perfect transition from winter wardrobe to summer. Same as the D&G stilettos. As for the top, ironically, it was purchased 5 years ago (!!!) for approximately $20 during my first trip to Sydney (car trip from Brisbane, to be precise).
I still need to plan for my summer must haves. Yet, dear reader, even without buying anything new it is still possible to look stylish. Simply by playing with pieces that are already in your wardrobe, you may come up with a few new combinations. In my case, there will be a lot of creativity involved this summer (starting with this white blazer look) as being on a baby leave limits my spending budget :)

$20 for those D&G pumps??? NICE! We’re heading into Fall in Chicago and I need Shoes!!! I had to replace all of my winter boots after a few years so that is the #1 need this season. Can’t wait to see what else you’ll be buying for Spring/Summer!

That is a nice, bright spring outfit! Love the heels, but I have a pair similar to yours that after a while, I would rather poke my eyes out with a blunt razor than wear! Whoever said loubs are comfy was a liar! I will definately be adding to my spring wardrobe. In winter I never buy anything new but in spring/summer I could probably put a deposit on a house if I didn’t spend it on clothes! Lol. I guess the hotter seasons have cuter, more feminine clothing that I like.

This is such a great summer to fall transitional look – red jeans are just the fall piece to own, and the white blazer is so definitively summer, I just love the look!
I’m so excited about spring in Sydney and one of the things I must do before it ever starts to get colder is buy and rock a pair of red pants. Seriously, they look great you’re all class.
