Packing light for the tropics

mint knit and Bassike blue cotton shirt

Bassike shirt and top, Dotti knit, Tods shoes, Havaianas, beloved Karen Walker sunglasses, Joe’s Jeans shorts, AG jeans, Zara trousers

These are essentially my outfits for our trip today to Brisbane. I love travelling light. To achieve this it’s necessary to select a collection of clothes and shoes that can be combined and recombined into various outfits depending on the occasion. As we’ll be attending various events from kids Birthday parties to an elegant dinner out.  So I’m packing 3 outfits that can transform into 8. For example, for a lunch out, printed pants (as worn here) will go perfectly together with a blue cotton shirt and ballets, and if I feel a little bit more adventurous I can pair them with a mint knit which can in turn be paired with cut off denim shorts for a Gold Coast picnic. Of course, no tropical holiday, even a short one, would be complete without Havaianas thongs, big sunglasses and SPF+30 sunscreen.

Have a lovely Friday, I’m off to get some sun!

xx

Hope you have fun here in Brisbane! The weather is really nice although it does get a little chilly at nights – the knit jumper will come in handy! You’re a pro at packing light :)
