The Young Republic official launch party

Recently we went to the official launch of Young Republic, a unique platform for upcoming and emerging Australian designers. The venue, Sydney’s Aurora bar & lounge, was transformed into a night-market displaying gorgeous jewellery, fashion clothing and interior products. Each designer has a story behind their brand. I really enjoyed having a conversation with gorgeous Toby of TobyE Jewellery, Megan of Soot-ii Hothersall and Marissa of Fiel Sol.
By providing an interactive market space for young local designers Young Republic supports and empowers Australian talent. Co-founder Marianne Sea revealed exclusive plans for the Young Republic to launch into overseas markets in 2011 and expand into the US, South America and the UK in the 3 months following the launch. This will allow emerging Australian designers to receive an exposure not only locally but on international level too.
