Zomp Shoes Odyssey
No 1
This post is devoted to brave and patient sales assistants of Zomp Shoes Sydney on Military Road. Being obsessed with shoes in general and always looking for unusual styles, I am a regular visitor to this shop. Lucky for me (and unlucky for sales people of the said shop) it is conveniently located just 10 mins away from home. It is always so difficult to make a choice and often (read always) I am ending up trying at least 10 pairs. As a responsible yet indecisive shopper, sometimes I walk away “to think about it”.
Sometimes I buy a couple of pairs. Especially, during sales as prices drop from $200 to $60! Would you resist?
So its sales time again and here I am on a mission to acquire something relaxed and colourful. As a brand new mummy, comfy shoes are required. 12cm heels are not quite correct styling choice when outing with your bub. So the options are:
No 2
No 3
No 4
No 5
No 6
As you can see lovelies, ain’t easy to choose… My heart says “No 1”, “No2” and “No 5″ or “No6”. My credit card says “Don’t touch me!”
What do you think, lovelies? Which one is your favourite (think comfy yet hip style for Australian winter to suit young mum’s needs)?
Ah… and BIG thank you to amazingly friendly and helpful guys from Zomp Shoes! I will be back soon to make the purchase and… may be try another 26 pairs :)

Great post! I hear you on that, I am soooo glad my little one is walking now because I lived in flats for almost a year!! I have to say, I like #1 and #5, #5 is more wintery though, I suppose, but I am sure there are occasions for both =)

Hmm…I’m pretty indecisive about shoes. But for winter you can’t beat a good pair of flat boots. So #4 and #5. That is just me though. It’s comfort and good for walking around. x
No. 1 !!!! perfection…
I also should add that the shoes listed cost around $50-60 per pair… so that makes it impossible to choose which one to buy:)
Ok, I love love love No.1 – it’s different, looks comfy and you can slip in and out of it easily. Next fave, is No.5. Again, love the design and the fact that you only need to slip it on and go! :) Hope that helps.
No 1 and 5 would be my picks – they look so comfy!

I definitely think the best option given that these shoes are sought after by a mother, who is most likely on her feet all day long, running around after her kids and balancing work, would be the be the 5th pair (brown slouchy boots). They are great for every day wear and would be perfect to throw on with all kinds of winter fashions — skirts & tights, leggings, jeans, etc. Ideally you would seek something that is comfortable yet still on trend and I can definitely imagine these being worn by a lot of different street-worthy celebs such as Kate Moss :)

For comfort and Aussie winters I love #4 or #5. #6 or #1 are gorgeous too though for a bit more glam :) Ha but I’m also an indecisive girl and would probably end up buying at least two pairs, especially at $60 each… I may have to make a trip to my local ZOMP! :)

You are so blessed to be near a ZOMP store. I have to admire them from afar unfortunately.
Like them all but for the winter my favorite one’s are the flat boots..they’re gorgeous.
