Magic Hour
This skirt is superb. It has some kind of magic capable of transforming even a simple ensemble into something ethereal. Paired with an open shouldered top, embellished heels and bold chunky jewels, this sheer skirt (also seen here) has transforms into evening wear. So far this ensemble is one of my favorites and I’m going to wear it to at least one of the countless Christmas parties this silly season. It is is approaching you know, we need to be ready!
As for the photography, we have finally worked out the best time for shooting. It called magic hour – an hour or so just before the sun goes down when everything turns golden and shimmery. Joseph did a really great job and I had difficulties selecting images for this post. There are too many gorgeous photos! So, dear reader, in case you are a fashion / beauty blogger or simply would like to have some great photography, try shooting into the sun during magic hour, you will be astonished by the result!

my favorite time of the day, jamie always calls me out of the house, with “hey babe its that time” and we stand on the verandah in each others arms and watch the cat chase the dog, and the dog chase the magpies… there is something magical about those last moments of sun – excitement for what is to come, and knowing what was today, will not be, tommorow. also, bathing everything it touches in a golden warmth, sigh. magic hour indeed.
